Ummah (community) - Islam. A 2+ lessons cycle of learning exploring student beliefs about community before looking at Muslim beliefs about the Ummah and why it is important. Contextualised within the concept of Hajj.

Approximately 2/3 lessons on equality from a Christian perspective. Uses the Story of the Good Samaritan and Martin Luther King Junior. Includes revised PPT and old one.

A minimum of 3 lessons cycle of learning looking at justice. It explores justice for children, the parable of the sheep and the goats, a few other Christian ideas, as well as Nicholas Winton and what he did in the build up to WW2.

Tawhid (oneness of God) - Islam. A 1-2 lesson cycle exploring Muslim beliefs about Tawhid (the oneness of God)

Jihad (struggle) - Islam. A 2+ lessons cycle of learning exploring student ideas about struggle before looking at Muslim beliefs about Jihad, contextualised in the struggle of fasting during Ramadan.

Abortion - Issues of Life and Death Eduqas Religious Studies 1-9. Includes the law different views including pro life and pro choice focusing on Christianity and Islam.

God - Christianity. A 3-4+ lesson cycle of learning that looks at the concept of God. It explores the student’s attitudes before looking at Christian beliefs about God and the Trinity.

5 Pillars - Assessment, worksheet and DIRT. An assessment we use after our cycle of learning into submission and obedience that is contextualised in the 5 pillars of Islam. The assessment takes the form of a sheet, with a DIRT slide and modelled answer.

Jesus - Christianity. Approximately 3 lessons of content in a cycle of learning that looks at the concept of Jesus. It explores the student’s attitudes before looking at a variety of beliefs about Jesus.

Shirk - Islam. A 1-2 lesson cycle of learning exploring what students value and the difference these things make before looking at Muslim beliefs about Shirk and why it is important.

Church- Christianity. Approximately a 2 lesson cycle of learning that looks at the concept of Church (community of Christians). It explores the student’s attitudes to community before looking at different communities of Christians.

Belief - Introductory Concepts. A 2-3 lesson cycle of learning that looks at the concept of belief. It explores the students attitudes and looks into some ancient Anglo Saxon/Norse beliefs.

Sacred - Introductory Concepts. A 2-3 lesson cycle of learning that looks at the concept of sacred. It explores the students attitudes and looks into the sacred element of the sacrament of Eucharist/Holy Communion.
